Roberto Trunfio

Biography

Currently I am research fellow at Department of Electronics, Computer Science and Systems (DEIS), University of Calabria, Italy.

From March 2007 to February 2009 I have been Senior Engeneer in a research & development project at the NEC Italia S.r.l. Center for High-Performance Computing and Computational Engineering (CESIC).

On March 2009 I received a Ph.D. in Operations Research from DEIS, University of Calabria, Italy.

I received a Laurea Specialistica degree (M.Sc.) in Management Engineering (cum laude) in September 2005 from the same university.

Interests

My research interests focus in quantitative modeling, optimization and performance evaluation of Logistics processes, via discrete event simulation combined with mathematical programming models and algorithms.
